Our Prevention & Education Programs
AMHC Sexual Assault Services provides training programs tailored to the specific needs of schools, civic groups, social service providers, health care providers, municipalities, and local businesses.
Our community education work includes evidence-informed child sexual abuse prevention programs Parents in the Know and They Said What? These programs are for adults to learn about preventing sexual violence in their families and communities. We also provide sexual harassment prevention and response training, sexual violence informational trainings, and trainings on healthy relationships. If you need trainings on different topics, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request!
Our prevention education efforts include free, age appropriate, research based programs for students Pre-K through college. These programs are also designed to meet the standards of the Maine Learning Results and are created in partnership with the Maine Department of Education and the Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
