What happens when I call?
You can get help over the phone. We can help you at the hospital. We can help you if you want to talk to the police. What you share and what you do is up to you.

Do I have to be in crisis to call? 
​No, you do not have to be in crisis to call our helpline and talk with an advocate. 
What are reasons someone can call the helpline?
Have questions pertaining to support groups, need to process a nightmare about your trauma, saw someone who offended you and you need emotional support are just a few reasons to call. 
What if I’m not sure about what happened?
​It is still okay to call. We can talk about it. We can help you.
​

​What if it was a long time ago?
You can still call. Some people call right away. Some people call after many years. We will listen.
If I call, do I have to talk to the police?No. It is up to you. We won’t tell you what to do.

Can a guy call?
Yes. We will help anyone.

Can I call for a friend?
Yes. We will help you.

Why call?
You may feel mad, sad, or scared.
You may want to get help for yourself. You may want to get help for a friend.
You may want to talk to someone or ask questions.
You may want to find out your rights. You may want to find other services.
You may need help making sure you’re safe.

What do I do if a child tells me about abuse?
You may not know what to say or do. We will help you.
